SAL RULES

This will be a very loosely organized SAL.
--Participants may work at their own pace and choose charts in any order that suits their fancy.
--Participants may post photos at any stage in the process: WIP, Cross Stitch finish, Final finish.
--Since only retailers who attended the 2006 Indy market are authorized to distribute or kit these charts, all participants are asked to refrain from copying and/or sharing the charts with others. Those wishing to acquire the charts should inquire at their favorite LNS. I do know they are available [with an additonal purchase] as a CD-rom of all 41 charts from The Silver Needle in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
--Let's all have fun with this very generous gift from the participating designers.

One last effort for 2011

I needed a break from my Quaker Sampler, so I stitched up the Star Theatre. I have no clue as to whether the charm I used is the one intended by the designer. But it is sterling silver and it is a double star ... so it works quite nicely so far as I am concerned.

Four More Finishes

Clockwise from top left: The Train Depot, The Saloon, The Clock Tower and The Town Hall. This brings my total for the year up to eight. I had wanted to do one a month but the Crazy January Challenge derailed that plan as well as many other stitching plans.

One More Finish

I finished this while on vacation and now that I am back home again where all my ornament making supplies are, I'll be finishing it up as a flat ornament like all the others.

Three more ornaments finished

I finished stitching and assembling three more ornaments for the "Small Town USA" themed tree I hope to have up this Christmas: the post office, the larger church and the school. Next, I'll be moving on to the Town Hall ... I figured I'd do the public buildings first and then move on to my favorite stores. I already made a good start on the Town Hall back in January when I included it in my Crazy January Challenge roster.

Riona's Progress Report

I'll be working on the ornament assembly finishes once the Church, the school house and the Town Hall are stitched. For now, I am just having fun with the cross-stitching.

Killing two birds with one stone

I put four of my Town Square pieces on my Crazy January Challenge list. Here is my progress on the first of them, the Post Office. I'll be working on the four pieces in immediate and, I hope rapid, succession so watch this space for further developments.

Finally, another one from me

I just put the final stitches today in the church by The Trilogy.

The Fire Station

Stitched on 28ct linen, a blue overdyed fabric called Meditation, in the recmmended WDW/GAST overdyes. I have started the Post Office and the Church as day 11 and 12 of the Crazy January Challenge and will probably use the Schoolhouse for Day 13.
